When finalizing their online purchase, the shoppers would choose this speficic payment method and they wold be taken to the Paga Más tarde platform. Then they would be able to choose how many installments, see the taxes and legal information involved, and then provide the information needed for the loan approval.
Working with a team of 3 other designers, we were responsible for creating and maintaining the UI and UX of the platform, in all of its instances. I was the first designer hired by the company, and after a few months and more designers joining, our team started to also take care of the UX research, following the product lifecycle.
The platform had 3 or 4 types of different flows, depending on the information submitted by the customers, as well as information gathered by the risk department. All of these conditions meant that the team had to foresee and be able to respond to more than 40 cases, including those of fraud prevention and money laudring.
For the research, we used tools such Hotjar, Usability Hub, LookBack, etc.
